We recorded these two tracks on July 23rd 2023. The two sound sources were a Behringer Crave Analogue Semi-Modular Synth and the Roland PB-300 Rhythm Plus. Stella bought the PB-300 from a vintage shop down the road from us when we lived on Sandringham Rd. It was right next door to Rocky's Dairy if you are familiar with the area. The owner of the shop was originally from Dunedin and was a nice guy. The PB-300 is one of those analogue drum machines with preprogrammed beats. For both tracks we used the disco beat with no fills at the same fairly slow tempo. The Crave is a remake of the Moog Mother-32 and was a COVID/lockdown era purchase. The Crave sadly does not have a sine wave oscillator so we got around this by feeding the VCA/line out output back into the mixer and letting it feed back from time to time.
